The Dark Lord
This cue accompanies a narration about cosmic forces of good and evil... as the music builds, we are brought from celestial realms to a dark alleyway in which an evil Presence awaits.

A commercial cue for a new kind of brassiere.... the ad director wanted a happy, upbeat 1950s "retro" sound.

Creation
Opening cue for the film Creation (2009, Ron Roggé, director). Sci-fi thriller, using choral and orchestral colors.

Jeff hunts for a job
Drawn from the score for Finest Hour (2009, in post production), this cue accompanies a montage where the main character in an urban drama is systematically turned down for one job after another.

Hubert's Dream
A magical cue for small chamber ensemble that evokes a sense of wonder and excitement, well suited for fantasy or animated film.

Fanfare and Remembrance
An epic score with a blazing fanfare, followed by a quiet hymn of remembrance on distant horns. Listen especially for the men's choir humming during the quiet section. This elegy builds to a climax and ends in triumph.

A Private Grief
For piano solo. Profound stillness and deep calm.

Epic Horns
A classic epic-adventure score, evoking wide open spaces. Massive brass chords and percussion are the foundation, contrasted with strings. The lyrical mid-section develops the material, finally returning to the opening theme.
